JTL National Awards
Each year, JTL hosts both regional and national awards ceremonies, recognising the fantastic efforts and abilities of our learners.
The Awards recognise apprentices’ achievements in lots of different disciplines and go to the best recently qualified apprentices in England and Wales.
This year, the National Awards ceremony was held, for the second consecutive year, at the prestigious Drapers’ Hall in the City of London. Mitchell Shore, from our Midlands region, was named this year's JTL Apprentice of the Year, while further awards were also presented to our regional winners, and individuals on other learning programmes with JTL.
Time was also taken to recognise the contribution of the employers that JTL work with across England and Wales.
Our apprentices have won a number of awards from key industry and government-led bodies. This has included being a finalist in the H&V News Awards, and also having JTL apprentices shortlisted in the Women in Construction Awards. A JTL apprentice was also named leading employer TClarke's Apprentice of the Year for 2014, while JTL apprentice and Ambassador Sam Jones travelled to New York as the winner of the JIB Exchange Scheme.
