EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY TRAINING
When they begin their apprenticeship their JTL Training Officer takes the apprentice through a detailed Equality & Diversity induction programme. You can watch the course they will be shown by clicking on the cartoon below.
It consists of four scenarios covering:
- Subtle discrimination
- Bullying and Harassment
- Direct discrimination
- Sexual harassment
The four scenarios help apprentices to understand the issues and the legal implications of the relevant Equality and Diversity legislation as it will affect them during their apprenticeship.
This on-line training session has been designed compliment the training apprentices receive from their Training Officer. They can watch it before or after their induction and discuss the issues with their Training Officer and you. However, it does not replace the one to one training they will given by their Training Officer.
