Applicants from under represented groups such as women and ethnic minorities are actively encouraged to apply for a JTL apprenticeship. We want to be sure that no applicant for a JTL training scheme or JTL apprentice, knowingly receives less favourable treatment or is disadvantaged in any way on any of these grounds.

JTL has a detailed policy and procedures for dealing with discrimination, harassment and bullying. It should not happen, but if it does, we offer apprentices support in dealing with these serious issues.

As part of their induction apprentices undergo Equality and Diversity training and their Training Officer will regularly review their situation with them throughout their apprenticeship.
