Established and run by industry professionals, JTL's not-for-profit charitable status means that we are often able to operate for the greater good of the industry. As a result our philosophy is to try to do things differently for the benefit of the learner and the sector as a whole and as such we take a leading role in promoting the industry.
Hence our marketing programmes include projects such as supporting Skills Minister David Lammy to launch the London Apprenticeship Taskforce, promoting female recruitment into the industry via Breaking the Mould and taking a leading role promoting the LSC's Safe Learner Programme with the production of an interactive DVD.
JTL conducts an extensive marketing programme to promote Advanced Apprenticeships to young people. Regionally JTL attends a myriad of careers fairs across the country and has developed close links with numerous of schools. An extensive suite of literature and interactive CD's explaining the career options is available to young people whilst. The JTL young people website provides extensive information including various peer to peer films, a Career Sat Nav device, the opportunity to practice the JTL Assessment on-line and the ability to apply on-line.
In order to encourage employers to recruit apprentices JTL operates a far-reaching integrated marketing campaign embracing an array of communication tools including trade shows, local events, PR, trade advertising, literature, interactive CD's, combined direct mail/telemarketing/e-mail campaigns, and a comprehensive employer website as well as extensive joint working on a national and regional basis with various industry partners.
