Our Way Of Working
JTL was established by and is run by industry professionals. Our charitable status means that as well as the obvious financial benefits, as a not-for-profit organisation, all income not directly spent on running the business is reinvested in the continuous improvement of our services to the industry. Hence, we are often able to operate for the greater good of the industry rather than purely for commercial gain.
As a result our philosophy is to try to 'do things differently' for the benefit of the learner and the sector as a whole.
Reflecting this thinking, below are details of just a number of the innovative projects we have developed and delivered for the industry.
Breaking the Mould
More than 30 South Yorkshire women have been placed in apprenticeships thanks to JTL's Breaking the Mould.
The Safe Learner
JTL has called for an end to avoidable work based accidents with the launch of it’s Safe Learner DVD.
