The Safe Learner
The Safe Learner Blueprint is an LSC guide to help ensure that learning takes place in a safe, healthy and supportive environment. Contained within the Blueprint is the Safe Learner Model, which recognises some important stages in health and safety learning and can be used by employers to evaluate existing practices to help in the development of safe learners.
Employers who have adopted the Safe Learner Model into their policies and procedures have seen the benefits it can bring to their business. It not just the obvious benefits of less down time from accidents incidents, they have reported better client communication and satisfaction brought about by well trained, competent staff who feel valued by their employer.
