Before your son or daughter can begin their apprenticeship JTL will visit their employer. We will carry out a review called a 'Pre-placement Vetting' to ensure that their employer will provide your child with the right support i.e. Health & Safety, to enable them to successfully complete their apprenticeship.

If the employer does not pass this your son or daughter will not be able to begin their apprenticeship.

There will be paperwork to complete relating to the training, referred to as their START DOCUMENTS. It is important that this is all completed, as it is essential to obtain funding from the government for your child’s training. However, don’t worry, as their Training Officer will make sure that it all gets sorted out properly. Their employer will also have paperwork that they need to complete before they can start working for them.
