Found an employer?
If you have already found a job and have an employer we will process your application when you submit it. Tell us abut them now and then complete your application form and complete a Colour Deficiency Certificate:
Not found an employer yet?
If you apply between 1st January and 31st August we will begin to process your application when you submit it.
If you apply between 1st September and 31st December we will not begin to process it until January 1st.
You should still apply and send us your Colour Deficiency Certificate as soon as you can so that we will be able to efficiently after January.
Begin to look for an employer immediately. When you find one call us straight away or use the ‘Found a Job’ on line form.
All communication will be via e-mai, so please ensure you provide your e-maill address on the application form.

You cannot apply using any other forms such as those provided by agencies such as Connexions. This is because to ensure you are eligible for the relevant funding we need you need to provide specific information about yourself. If you send us a different form or don't provide all the information required we will have to return your application form to you.

Colour Vision
Entry to the industry is not allowed if you suffer from a colour vision deficiency (commonly referred to as Colour Blindness). Unfortunately, if you do, we will not be permitted to allow you to take up a JTL apprenticeship.
It would be sensible to have your eyes tested for absence of colour deficiency (i.e. a successfully passed colour vision test) before you complete your on line application. Any optician will be able to conduct this test and provide you with the results using the form contained in the next section. You should then return the completed form to JTL.
You can apply for a JTL apprenticeship without a completed Colour Vision Certificate. However, your application will not be progressed and you will not be invited to attend a JTL Assessment until we receive your completed Colour Vision Certificate.
