Colour Blindness
Entry to the industry is not allowed if you suffer from a colour vision deficiency (commonly referred to as Colour Blindness). Unfortunately, if you do, we will not be permitted to allow you to take up a JTL apprenticeship.
This is a serious safety issue as, given the nature of the work involved, any accidents that could happen as a result of having a colour vision deficiency, could be lethal.

It would be sensible to have your eyes tested for absence of colour deficiency (i.e. a successfully passed colour vision test) before you complete your on line application. Any optician will be able to conduct this test and provide you with the results using the form below.
You should immediately print off a copy of the Colour Vision Certificate (click the pdf image below), take it along to your local optician and ask them to carry out the test and complete the form for you.
Send it by post to:
JTL National Administration Centre
Unit 3H1
Third Floor
Redwither Tower
Redwither Business Park
Wrexham

If you have already applied to JTL, it is vital that you send us the results of your colour vision test as soon as possible.
If we do not receive your complete form your application cannot be progressed further and you will not be invited to attend a JTL Assessment.
