What JTL's commitment to Equality and Diversity means
When you begin your apprenticeship your JTL Training Officer will take you through a detailed Equality & Diversity induction programme. You can watch the course you will be shown by clicking on the cartoon below.
It consists of four scenarios covering:
- Subtle discrimination
- Bullying and Harassment
- Direct discrimination
- Sexual harassment
The four scenarios will help you to understand the issues and the legal implications of the relevant Equality and Diversity legislation as it will affect you.
This on-line training session has been designed compliment the training you will receive from your Training Officer. You can watch it before or after your induction and discuss the issues with your Training Officer and employer. However, it does not replace the one to one training you will given by your Training Officer.
