Online Assessment
Below are some practice initial assessments carried out by JTL.
On the day, the initial assessment will last for 40 minutes. With the time necessary for administration you should expect to be finished in about 70 minutes.
The assessment itself is designed to look at 2 very important skill areas. These are:
- Literacy skills and
- Numeracy skills
They are very important because the Advanced Apprenticeships offered by JTL require the completion of Key Skills. The initial assessment gives you a good indication of your ability to achieve these required skills.
These practice questions are in the style of the real initial assessment but are not the same. Do not worry about trying to remember these questions; they will not be part of the assessment.
