Sorting out the paperwork

Before you can begin your apprenticeship JTL will visit your employ. We will carry out a review called a 'Pre-placement Vetting' to ensure that your employer will provide you with the right support i.e. Health & Safety, to enable you to successfully complete your apprenticeship. If they do not pass this you will not be able to begin your apprenticeship. There will be paperwork to complete relating to your training, referred to as your START DOCUMENTS. It is important that this is all completed, as it is essential to obtain funding from the government for your training. However, don’t worry, as your Training Officer will make sure that you get it all sorted out properly. You employer will also have paperwork that you need to complete before you can start working for them. Then it’s time to get ready for your first day.
