In addition to working with more than 100 colleges across England and Wales, JTL has a number of dedicated training centres. In these centres, we provide apprenticeships, traineeships, training courses and functional skills programmes, while some also offer other services such as NVQ Assessment, meeting rooms and conference facilities. JTL has a dedicated training centre located in Ashford, Kent.
JTL’s Training Centre in Birmingham was opened in 2013, and acts as one of our flagship locations throughout the country.
JTL Carlisle opened in May 2019 and is the first JTL dedicated training centre in the North West. The centre provides high quality training in electrical apprenticeships for Carlisle and the wider Cumbria area.
JTL has a dedicated training centre on the MidKent College campus in Maidstone.
Based in Wrexham, Wales, JTL's administration has a dedicated call centre and support team to help with all matters relating to JTL apprenticeships and training courses
JTL’s Nottingham Training Centre offers Electrical and Plumbing and Heating Apprenticeships as well as Traineeships to individuals in Nottingham and the wider East Midlands area.
The JTL Norwich Training Centre was opened in 2015; further evidence of JTL’s efforts to provide the best work-based learning opportunities possible for young people.
In January 2016, we officially opened a new, dedicated JTL Training Centre at our Head Office location in Orpington, Kent. The Centre was opened by local MP Jo Johnson, and has a capacity to provide training for 250 learners.
JTL opened a brand new electrical training centre at the Culham Science Centre, the home of nuclear fusion research in the UK, in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, in April 2016.
JTL’s Training Centre in Tankersley, Yorkhsire, has been open for a number of years, and currently provides facilities for NVQ Assessments, training courses and functional skills.
In July 2016, JTL announced a new partnership in Yeovil, Somerset, alongside long-established and rapidly-growing electrical training business P&R Hurt.
JTL York Training Centre opened in July 2019 offering top quality training to electrical apprentices in the York and wider North Yorkshire area.
