Five steps to safer working together

  • We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and shared the results with the people who work here
  • We have cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance 
  • We have taken all reasonable steps to help people work from home
  • We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace 
  • Where people cannot be 2m apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk

Environmental Considerations

All JTL premises have been assessed and made COVID-19 Secure in line with Government guidelines.

These measures include but are not limited to the following:

  • Completing COVID-19 risk assessment for all JTL group premises;
  • Providing additional cleaning, hand washing and hygiene facilities; 
  • Providing staff with the facility to work remotely;
  • Introducing social distancing measures and guidance across all JTL group  premises.

 

Access and Egress Considerations

All visitors to JTL premises will be required to confirm the following:

  1. That they are not displaying “flu-like” symptoms;
  2. That they have not returned to the UK in the last 14 days from an area listed in Public Health England’s Guidance;
  3. They have not been in contact with colleagues, family or friends who have returned from one of those areas or have been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

All visitors will be required to undertake a COVID-19 induction and asked to confirm that they agree to abide by relevant rules and procedures. 

We reserve the right to deny access to our premises if visitors fail to comply.

 

Biological – Cross-contamination and Personnel Interaction Considerations

All persons are expected to follow increased levels of personal hygiene as follows:

  • Wash/sanitise your hands on arrival and departure;
  • Where possible carry and use hand sanitiser;
  • Avoid shaking hands and any physical contact.
