When you begin an apprenticeship with JTL, you will have already made your first important step towards a lifelong career in a sector that offers exciting career opportunities and excellent earnings potential.

In just four years, you could become a Level 3 qualified craftsperson working in specialist areas, such as electrical, plumbing and heating and engineering, earning good salaries in the region of £28k to £30k and higher*.

With an apprenticeship you get paid to train alongside doing a real job, and you even get holiday pay! It doesn’t cost you anything because it is funded by the government. Your apprenticeship will involve a combination of on-the-job training and classroom learning, providing you with an essential combination of the skills and knowledge you will need for your future career.

Apprenticeships are open to everyone. You don’t need any special qualifications, work experience or skills to apply.

Apprentice Stories

Dale Turner, our National MES Apprentice of the Year 2018 loved doing his Apprenticeship with JTL. He gave up Further Education to complete an Apprenticeship working for Kier North Tyneside as a gas fitter and says it’s the best decision he ever made.
