JTL apprentice gets recognition in college awards

28 January 2015     JTL

JTL electrical apprentice Mark Lawrence from Abingdon in Oxfordshire recently picked up an award from his college – Oxford College - for the level of work commitment and effort he has shown over the past year towards his studies, which form an important part of his electrical apprenticeship work.

Neal Belcher from JTL says he’s delighted that Mark was recognised in this way: “Mark will admit that he struggled a little at the outset of his apprenticeship but his tutor and those of us at JTL have seen him make real efforts and he has made significant strides forward over the past twelve months – he’s certainly a success story we’re proud of and he should be very proud of his efforts too.”

Mark is in his second year of a four year apprenticeship through JTL, and is employed by Darke and Taylor Limited, based at Langford Locks, Kidlington, in Oxford.

The photograph shows Mark receiving his certificate from Head of Construction at Oxford College, Richard Coldwell.
