Three JTL apprentices have been shortlisted for the Apprentice of the Year Award in the Construction category - Danny Beesla who works for W T Parker, Deve Shokar, employed by DMA Mechanical & Air Conditioning and Faisal Khan who is an apprentice working with Interserve Engineering Services.

In addition, JTL has been shortlisted for the overall Training provider of the Year 2017.

According to the organisers of the awards, this year’s nominations have been impressive. The quality and standard of nominees shows the superb level of talent that is out there among the British Asian community and the support they receive from their employers and learning providers.

Yasmin Damree-Ralph is the Equality and Diversity Officer for JTL: “We’re delighted that we have been shortlisted for the provider of the year category and really pleased that three of our outstanding apprentices have made it to the last four in the apprentice of the year category for the construction sector. This says a lot about the company and the efforts that we put in as a business to encourage youngsters from the minority ethnic communities across England and Wales. We hope the success of these three lads will encourage more and more individuals from the Asian communities to take a closer look at the outstanding training opportunities we offer across the board at JTL.”

Winners of the awards will be announced a gala dinner on Thursday 2nd November 2017 at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham.
