Start your career with our Summer Traineeship programme

05 June 2015     JTL

If you're aged between 16 and 18 and are looking to get work ready for your future career, a traineeship could be just what you're looking for. And now, there's never been a better time to sign up, as JTL are running the "Summer Traineeship Programme" at our National Centre of Excellence in Birmingham, starting next month.

The JTL Summer Traineeship Programme will encompass a nine-week timeframe, starting on Monday 6 July 2015 and ending on Friday 4 September 2015. There's still time to apply and enquire about getting onto the course, with anyone aged 16-18 at the start of the programme welcomed.

Being work-ready before moving onto further work-based learning activities, such as an apprenticeship, can stand an individual in excellent stead. Our traineeship programmes offer young people the opportunity to learn and hone many of the skills they may need in their future career. These include things like work preparation training; in the form of CV writing, or practicing interview techniques, and more general knowledge of the building services engineering industry, and the doors that it can open up, or health and safety.

The traineeship will also include four weeks on-site work experience with a local employer, where the student can get "hands-on" and understand some of the elements involved in the trade.

So if you're interested in finding out more about traineeships or even signing up for a place on JTL's Summer Traineeships Programme, get in touch.

You can also find out more about traineeships and everything else the JTL National Centre of Excellence has to offer at the second of our three open days in Birmingham tomorrow.
