Watch the BAME Apprenticeship Awards 2020

BAME -

Groups may not be able to gather together right now, but that won’t stop the glitz, glamour and glory of this year’s BAME Apprenticeship Awards – and you can watch the winners from home.

With the current pandemic moving proceedings online, the awards will be given out remotely, with a virtual ceremony streamed live on YouTube on 11 November.

JTL is proud to be shortlisted again for Training Provider of the Year, and to have several of our learners as category finalists: Shaun Donaldson, Karl Rouse and Karim Hughes.

Chief Executive Jon Graham will also be making an appearance to present the awards for the Engineering & Manufacturing apprentice and employer of the year.

Previously the Asian Apprenticeship Awards, the BAME Apprenticeship Awards aims to showcase talent and diversity within BAME communities through the celebration of those working hard to overcome adversity to achieve their goals through apprenticeships. The awards highlight the achievements of apprentices and the contribution of employers and learning providers who have assisted them along their journey.

This year’s virtual ceremony will be hosted by Tez Ilyas (Comedian and star of BBC hit comedy show Man Like Mobeen) and Remel Remel (award-winning British TV presenter Radio presenter and host of the Saturday Afternoon show on CAPITAL XTRA).

Watch it live on the BAME Apprenticeship Awards YouTube channel from 7pm on Wednesday 11 November.
