Switch your career back on with the Career Progression Programme and become a fully qualified electrician
Do you want to progress your career, gain increasingly necessary qualifications to help you win new business, and open doors to other working opportunities?
With many employers now facing an imminent skills shortage of qualified electricians, TESP (The Electrotechnical Skills Partnership) has decided to support the industry by subsidising this programme to allow you to achieve your ECS Gold Card - and therefore industry recognition as a qualified electrician.
In order to be considered for the Career Progression Programme, you must achieve the following criteria:
- 5 years' experience working in the electrical industry since training
- Currently working in industrial, commercial or domestic premises
- Practical and technical knowledge of installing and maintaining electrical systems
- Working knowledge of the current 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
