The government is introducing major apprenticeship funding reforms on 1st May 2017.

The reforms only affect funding in England and not in Wales.

The changes may prove challenging for employers and JTL, with our experience and knowledge of government funding, is here to help you through every step of the process.

We will work with you to understand your needs, supporting you through the documentation, help you find the right apprentice and attract the best funding available. Our dedicated Training Officers and support staff will be with you throughout the apprenticeship period, guiding you every step of the way.

Whether you are a large, medium or smaller sized business, we have simple to follow, funding reform guidance materials related to your business needs, including short films presented by Caroline Turner, JTL’s Director of Policy & Stakeholder Relations, which you will find below.

If you need further assistance please call our funding reform hotline number 0800 085 2308 or email us at and a member of the support team will be happy to help you.

Employers with over 50 employees

For employers with over 50 employees but a staff pay bill of less than £3m per year, co-investment of 10% of the cost of the apprenticeship will be introduced from 1st May 2017.
